Stephen G. Cunningham, M.D.

I completed both medical school and a psychiatry residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.  I am board certified in General Adult Psychiatry and I treat individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders (including schizophrenia), addiction and attention deficit disorder.  I also serve as an associate medical director at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center.  I am proud to serve the psychiatric needs of patients at Tidewater Psychotherapy Services.

Arnella Edwards, PMHNP-BC

I have provided psychiatric care since 2011 through Portsmouth Naval Medical Center and Portsmouth Community Services Board. I joined Tidewater Psychotherapy Services in October 2016 and enjoy working with patients who experience anxiety, depression, focus issues, and substance abuse. I received my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification through Drexel University in 2016. In addition to outpatient services at Tidewater Psychotherapy Services, I provide hands-on instruction at ECPI in Psychiatric Mental Health/Medical Surgical Nursing topics.

Danielle Gange, NP-C

I attended West Virginia University, Morgantown, and South University, Virginia Beach. I have served as the Director of Nursing for and outpatient surgery center and the Care Coordinator for Sentara Leigh Hospital. I current provide medication management for child, adolescent and adult Psychiatric patients. This includes obtaining a full medical history, medical evaluations and routine medication monitoring. This combined with patient education and care coordination allows me support the patient in achieve their long term mental health goals.Behavior/Conduct Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Depression, Grief, Physical Abuse/Victim, Sexual Abuse/Victim, Parenting, PTSD, OCD in children, Social Skills, and School Issues.

Jeffrey Morse, M.D.

I have lived in Norfolk or Virginia Beach for most of my life. I have been practicing psychiatry here since 1994. I completed both medical school and psychiatry training at the University of Virginia. I am Board Certified in Psychiatry and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Society. I treat psychiatric illnesses, which include panic disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, major depressive disorder, autistic disorder, attention-deficit disorder, and schizophrenia. I have had training as well in internal medicine and general surgery, as well as degrees in chemistry and biomedical engineering, so I feel confident in handling people whose psychiatric illness is complicated by medical illness. I look forward to assisting you in controlling your psychiatric condition with psychiatric medication, if appropriate.

Yongbing Larry Pu, M.D.

I am a board certified general psychiatrist. I mainly treat adults with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, PTSD, psychotic disorder, ADHD, and other common psychiatric conditions. I graduated from Peking Union Medical College in 1993. I have successful prior experiences in internal medicine/endocrinology in China and in urology research in the United States. I completed a psychiatry residency at University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee in 2011. I was in charge of a psychiatry screening and crisis center in New Jersey from 2011 to 2013. During the same time, I also provided psychiatric consultation liaison services to several local hospitals. I began  work at Tidewater Psychotherapy Services in 2013. In addition to outpatient work at Tidewater Psychotherapy Services, I am also affiliated with Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center. I am also working with a leading national telepsychiatry service provider company to provide telepsychiatry service to underserved regions and facilities.

Jordan Romero, M.D.

Originally from southern Louisiana, Dr. Romero earned a BA in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and then attended the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he earned his Doctorate in Medicine.  Dr. Romero completed his Psychiatric training at Eastern Virginia School of Medicine, and decided to remain in the Tidewater area.  He is Board-Certified in Psychiatry, and has extensive experience in caring for those suffering with Depression, Bipolar and Anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders, and various forms of Addiction.  Dr. Romero is excited to join the staff at Tidewater Psychotherapy Services, and is passionate about helping his patients achieve their long-term mental health goals.
